Personal data notice

Your privacy.

This notice covers browsing the Cardone catalogue, information enquiries and retailer applications, the configurator, the customer area and the promotional communications described here.

Version dated 22 October 2026

Who handles your data

The data controller is Cardone S.r.l., VAT number 08435801215. Registered office: Via Toledo, 156 — Naples, Italy. Operating address: Strada Provinciale Mugnano Melito snc — Mugnano di Napoli (NA), Italy.

For information or to exercise your rights, write to info@cardonecollezioni.com or call +39 081 894 3015.

When you contact us

The enquiry tools in the public catalogue and Become a retailer area prepare a message that you can review, edit, copy and open in your email application. The website does not send it automatically: you send it from your email account. If you write to us, we receive your email address, message and any information or attachments you choose to include.

For a retailer application, you can provide your business, contact person, city, country, contact details and an introduction to your proposal. We ask only for information useful to assess the collaboration. You do not need to send health information, identity documents or bank details for an initial enquiry.

We use these details to reply, prepare quotations and handle the pre-contractual steps you request, under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. If you write as a company representative, we use your professional contact details to handle the requested relationship, based on Cardone’s legitimate interest in managing this correspondence under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Contacting us is optional. Without contact details and the information needed to understand the enquiry, we may be unable to reply or assess it.

Your customer area

Cardone creates the customer account using the customer’s email address and any name or business name provided. Customers sign in with their email and choose their password through WordPress invitation and password-reset tools. These tools send the relevant emails to the customer.

The area provides catalogues enabled for customers and sheets assigned to their account. When a customer saves a configuration, the project reference, product choices and dimensions, PDF sheet and any render are stored. Cardone can also upload a sheet or render for the customer. We use these details to manage access, provide documents and follow up on requested projects.

When the customer selects “Send order request by email”, the request is passed to the email service for ordini@cardonecollezioni.com. The message includes account details and sheet references, any customer message and, as attachments, the PDF and the stored render where present. Opening a sheet does not send an order request.

Access to the customer area uses technical WordPress authentication and session cookies. Passwords and access cookies are not included in project PDFs or renders.

News and offers

Only with your optional consent do we use your email address to send news and offers about Cardone and Bedline products. This processing is based on consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Article 130 of the Italian Personal Data Protection Code.

You can decline these communications without affecting your enquiry, quotation or application. You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to info@cardonecollezioni.com or following the instructions in the email. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. Sending an enquiry does not, by itself, give consent to promotions.

Providers and recipients

Data may be handled by people authorised by Cardone to manage enquiries and commercial relationships, and by hosting, email and technical support providers involved in those activities. Publishing your enquiry in the catalogue is not part of this service.

The website uses Aruba’s Hosting Easy Linux service. Aruba states that it operates its hosting services in Italian data centres. This information concerns catalogue hosting and does not describe the location of every tool used in correspondence. You can ask Cardone about the recipients of your data and safeguards applicable to any transfers outside the European Economic Area.

How long we keep data

We retain enquiries and applications while handling them and any related negotiations. Once these are concluded, we delete information that is no longer needed. If a contractual relationship follows, or a legal obligation or dispute requires it, we retain only the relevant documents for those purposes and for the time they require.

For promotional communications, your contact details remain on the list while consent is valid and the purpose remains current. Withdrawal or the end of that purpose stops further mailings; the relevance of contacts is reviewed to avoid unnecessary retention. Evidence of your choice and the minimum information needed to respect a withdrawal are managed separately from the mailing list.

Retention of technical logs and copies depends on their function, the terms of the services used and any applicable obligations. A provider’s retention periods for technical data do not necessarily match those for correspondence or lists managed by Cardone.

Your choices and rights

Where provided by the GDPR, you can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your situation; you can always object to marketing and withdraw the related consent.

To make a request, write to info@cardonecollezioni.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority. Your enquiry or application is not assessed through solely automated decisions in the new catalogue.
